Ways to Help

Get Involved.

Support Team Hoyt Denver through donations, race-day help, athlete participation, or community events. Every path helps bring the experience of racing to more athletes.

MILE 01 Pick a lane N°04 PATHS

Four ways to show up.

Whether you have a few hours, a lifelong running practice, or a corner office with budget to share, there's a way to plug into the team.

01

Ride with the Team

Athletes with disabilities are the heart of every race. Rider athletes are matched with runners and pushed to the finish line in specialized racing chairs — at no cost. Join the roster and take the line at events across the Denver metro.

02

Power the Team

Runner athletes power the racing chair to the finish line. Run alongside as a support runner, lend a hand with race-day support, or cheer from the course. Whether you can give a few hours a week or a few a month, every supporter widens the team.

Support the Team

Sponsors and donors keep the wheels turning — racing chairs, race registrations, hospitality, uniforms, and the work behind every start line. Partner with us or give to fuel the mission.

Attend our events

The organization hosts fundraisers, team training sessions, community outreach events, and sponsored races throughout the year. Come cheer, race, or connect.

MILE 02 Volunteer roles N°06 ROLES

The team needs more hands.

It takes a crowd to get a rider athlete across the line — runners, pushers, and the people cheering, feeding, and fixing along the way. Find a spot that fits, then tell us how you'd like to help.

01

Chair Pusher

Push a rider athlete's racing chair to the finish line. No racing background needed — training, technique, and the chair are all provided.

02

Support Runner

Run alongside the duo to support the pusher, carry water and gear, and help keep the pace safe from start to finish.

03

Cheer Squad

Line the course and the finish with signs, cowbells, and noise. The loudest miles are the ones that carry athletes through.

04

Snack Station

Stock and staff the food and hydration table before, during, and after the race so athletes and volunteers stay fueled.

05

Chair Maintenance

Keep the racing chairs race-ready — tires, straps, cleaning, and small repairs between events and on race morning.

06

Setup & Teardown

Haul, build, and break down the team tent, banners, and equipment so race day runs smoothly from the first athlete to the last.

MILE 03 Beyond race day

Help that runs year-round.

Off the course, the team leans on marketing and social media, equipment care between races, athlete recruiting and coordination, and volunteer leadership. If you'd rather lend a skill than a race morning, there's a place for you.
