What the role does.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee a sponsorship and fundraising strategy aligned with annual organizational goals
- Work with the Board to create a list of potential fundraising targets and assign owner with the Board members
- Ensure appropriate standard materials exist to support fundraising outreach, including standard grant proposals, presentations and partnership agreements and keep these materials updated
- Track and report on fundraising progress, sponsor commitments and pipeline activity
- Ensure strong stewardship practices, including recognition, communication and retention of sponsors
- Work with the President and Fundraising Director to develop an annual fundraising campaign
- Ensure sponsors receive promised recognition
- Attend a minimum of 4 Team Hoyt Denver races per year
