Team Hoyt Denver's mission is to champion inclusion in running races and empower athletes of all abilities through the joy of racing, teamwork and the shared thrill of crossing the finish line.
What the role does.
Runner Athlete Manager Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries and connect with prospective Runner Athletes to introduce them to Team Hoyt Denver, explain how the team works and how the onboarding process works.
- Ensure all their applications and forms are completed.
- Help them navigate the portal if needed to signup for races, explaining how the process works.
- Ensure runners receive a team t-shirt at their first race or ideally ahead of their first race, so they feel part of the team. If you will not be at their first race, designate someone to provide them a t-shirt who is attending the race. T-shirt sizes are listed in the THD portal.
- Once a quarter, reach out to Runner Athletes that haven’t participated or haven’t participated recently to maintain connection with the team. Encourage them to participate. Mark anyone as “inactive” in the portal who no longer wishes to be a part of Team Hoyt Denver.
- Track runner miles completed for annual runner miles awards
- Survey runner athletes on an annual basis to understand how they feel about their experience to identify opportunities for improvement. Summarize and present conclusions to Team Hoyt Denver leadership team.
- Attend a minimum of 4 THD races per year.
